I'm using #8 self-tapping screws and large fender washers to screw the pan down to the braces and the rockers. The small hole that is left by the screw, allows the weld puddle to flow into it and give a great anchor point. |
Remember what I said about shooting the engineer and staring production, well, before i did all this plug welding, I re-measured the major dimensions of the shell just to make sure everything was still square. |
